PORT MATILDA, Centre county (WTAJ) — Centre Wildlife Care in Port Matilda is being forced to temporarily shut its doors.
The CWC helps take care of orphaned wildlife as well as animals who are injured in the wild.
They say they regret to inform the public that right now their facility is full to capacity, and they want to provide the best care possible for the animals they have.
They are working to provide salary positions with CWC as well as expanding their operations. They hope once these changes can be made they will have more help to care for the animals they house.
Centre Wildlife Care says they will open their doors to accept new animals again as soon as possible.
