A town hall meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 12, at the Penns Valley High School Auditorium. The Centre County District Attorney’s Office, along with the Centre County Heroin and Opioid Prevention and Education Initiative (HOPE Initiative).
This town hall meeting will have a community presentation where you can learn about substance use disorders; along with prevention, treatment, and the recovery practices relating to them. There will be resources that relate to these topic available. At the end of the meeting there will be a Q&A.
“The heroin and opioid epidemic does not discriminate and impacts all of Centre County,” District Attorney Bernie Cantorna said. “It is important that Penns Valley and its surrounding communities know what resources are available so we can keep our loved ones and our community safe.”
In the event that the Penns Valley Area School District is closed due to weather, the town hall meeting will be rescheduled.
