A Centre County student’s small idea gets a big return!
Bald Eagle Area School Distirct student Charlee Marshall decided to host a clothing drive for homeless veterans.
She says she only expected a few boxes but the community donated enough items to fill a small warehouse.
“It’s very nice to know the community is very involved in stuff like this and it makes me very proud to be part of the Centre County community,” said Marshall.
Thursday, Centre County Commissioners, representatives from the VA home, Veterans Affairs Office, and Centre County Homeless Veterans Association honored Charlee for her efforts.
