It’s a special day for Central Pennsylvania. Rockerfeller Center in New York City revealed that the 2017 Christmas tree will come from State College, Pennsylvania.
The Norway Spruce tree is 75 feet tall. It will be cut down today, Nov. 9, and arrive at Rockerfeller Center in New York on Saturday, Nov 11.
The tree will be wrapped with more than 50,000 multi-colored LED lights and crowned with a Swarovski star. The tree will officially be lit Nov. 29. It will be on display until Jan. 7, 2018.
