ALTOONA (WTAJ) — The Bishop Eugene A. Garvey Catholic War Veterans post 16-91, held their Memorial Day parade this morning.
They marched in Altoona from 13th street, around town, and into the St. Mary’s church for mass.
Following the mass, the parade continued down the hill to St. Mary’s cemetery– where they placed the catholic war veterans memorial wreath.
The wreath reminds people to remember, honor, and teach others about our veterans.
