The Cambria County crime stoppers released their new Christmas ornament on Tuesday.

It featured Johnstown’s iconic inclined plane covered in a layer of snow.

This is the second year that the organization created the ornament to raise money for their “push out” initiative.

“We did it because we want to community involved in taking out crime in Cambria County. What better way is that: you get something back when you give something,’ said Gary Martin, President of the Cambria County crime stoppers.

Nancy Ott spent 10 hours painting the scene for the ornament. She said it was all worth it.

“It was worth while. Just to think that you were doing something that would help this city, because it’s a nice city. It is beautiful.”

They made 500 ornaments, and they are expected to sell out quickly. They cost $20 each.
