The Cambria County Veteran Services Office has scheduled several 2019 town hall events.

The events aim to reach out to the veteran population to inform people about possible benefits available through the Veterans Administration.

According to Commissioners Thomas Chernisky and Mark Wissinger, seven town halls are planned at various locations throughout January and March 2019.

“We just want to make every effort possible to inform our area veterans of what may be available to them,” said Chernisky. “These events are very informative and help our community better understand how the VA works.”

“If there’s something available to our veterans and their families, we want to make sure they are aware of it,” said Wissinger.
