The Cambria County President Commissioner is working with local schools and senior activity centers to participate in the American Red Cross Holiday Mail for Heroes program.
Cambria County President Commissioner, Thomas Chernisky, and representatives from the Red Cross will be picking up cards from various schools and seniors at some of the senior activity centers in the region.
This program was developed to send support and thank you cards to our service members, veterans and military families.
Commissioner Chernisky plans to pick up cards at the following locations:
Wednesday, November 28
• Nanty Glo Senior Activity Center in Nanty Glo at 12:30 p.m.
• Central Cambria Middle School School Entrance in Ebensburg at 1:30 p.m.
Thursday, November 29
• Penn Cambria High School Office in Cresson at 11:30 a.m.
• Patton Senior Activity Center in Patton at 12:30 p.m.
• Cambria Heights Elementary in Carrolltown, including an assembly at 1:30 p.m.
Friday, November 30
• Johnstown Senior Activity Center in Johnstown at 12:30 p.m.
• Ferndale Area Jr./Sr. High School in Ferndale at 1:30 p.m.
