The $32.7 billion spending plan is headed to the Governor’s desk.

Friday afternoon, the state Senate passed the budget in a 47 to 2 vote. The spending plan, increases education spending for pre-k through higher education. It also requires no tax increases.

The plan passed the state House of Representatives Wednesday in a 188 to 10 vote. Governor Tom Wolf has indicated that he would sign the bill when it reaches his desk.
