One dead in Everett stabbing.

State Police out of Bedford was called to 507 West Main St. at 1:55 a.m. Tuesday after receiving a 911 call of a reported domestic dispute.

Bernard Harry Jones, 41, is accused of stabbing the 41-year-old female victim with a kitchen knife.

After stabbing the victim, Jones left the scene in a 2011 Nissan Rogue East on the PA Turnpike. The victim was taken to UPMC Bedford Memorial, where she was pronounced dead at 4:58 a.m.

The vehicle was spotted on the PA Turnpike in Chester County, and Jones was taken into custody.

Jones has confessed to stabbing the victim, and he will be transported back to Bedford County, where he will be charged with homicide, murder of the 1st degree, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Jones will not have the option of bail due to these charges.
