Brookville bus driver arrested on child rape and incest charges

Brookville Police have arrested Keith E. Reynolds, 44, on multiple counts including child rape and incest.

Police say Reynolds engaged in sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old mentally-disabled girl. The relationship he has with the girl is not confirmed, however, he was charged by police with incest.

Reynolds told the young girl that she needed to “practice” so that she didn’t look “stupid” in front of the “one she loved.” Police believe “practice” meant having sex.

Reynolds is being charged with rape, incest, corruption of minors, aggravated indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children, as well as other charges.

Police have confirmed that Reynolds is a bus driver for the Brookville School District.

The victim said Reynolds raped her 20 times between October 2018 and March 2019 at two locations in Brookville.

Police believe the victim and suspect had intercourse in a building that houses a small business in Brookeville, a location the victim refers to as “the shop.” The victim also stated that she would help him clean other businesses and buildings on Wednesdays and Saturdays then go back to “the shop” to have intercourse.

Police executed a search warrant to find various items hidden in the ceiling of the building including viagra and other sexual items.

Police believe the suspect, Reynolds, was also hired at the Grace Lutheran Church in Brookeville, as a janitor.

In a statement, Pastor Ben Austin said, “We are incredibly saddened and shocked by what has transpired in the past couple days. As a congregation, we will move forward by holding all parties in prayer and showing them love and forgiveness as we show love toward our community.”

Reynolds is currently in jail facing 180 charges.
