Tonight, a group of kids in Blair County got to have fun with their brains, and several other brains too.

Every year, the Hollidaysburg Area Public Library teams up with Saint Francis University and the Dana Foundation in honor of brain awareness week.

Tonight a special science fair about the brain was held at the Hollidaysburg Library to teach kids about how brains work, and how to take care of them.

The organizers of that event say it helps kids understand how their own bodies work, and inspires an interest in science.

Kids got to look at a sheep’s brain, and a cow’s eye.

They also learned more about how their own brains work through a series of visual and hearing tests.
