A company in Cambria County wants to make the holiday break a little easier for families with children.
Bottle Works in Johnstown is holding a Winter Arts Camp later this month. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on December 27 and 28.
The goal is to give kids an exciting and educational experience.
Instructors will guide the kids through projects using artistic, scientific, engineering, recycling, and athletic skills. The kids will use clay to create an ice castle, winter dwelling, or woodland forest, cook treats and make crafts, experiment with ice, water, and salt to see how science and art meet, and enjoy outdoor activities like skating, curling, and snowball fighting.
“Winter Camp is a great time to build memories with old and new friends,” said camp instructor Holly Lees. “From creating innovative art to funny games like indoor skating and snowball fights, sending your child to winter camp may be the best thing you do this winter break.”
Students must pre-register online at www/BottleWorks.org or call 814-535-2020 by December 20 to reserve their spot.
