A boil water advisory is now in effect for the city of Johnstown.
A 24-inch line broke on Roosevelt Boulevard sometime between 1:00 and 2:00 Thursday afternoon.
Water has been shut off and crews will be working into Thursday night to fix it.
The boil water notice is in effect for residents in city limits until Friday afternoon.
Crews say the cold temperatures may have caused the break.
