The American Heart Association’s Blair Go Red for Women hosted it’s Red Dress Collection Fashion Show viewing party in Altoona Wednesday night.
The fashion show featured survivors and celebrities rocking red dresses in support of raising awareness for heart disease in women.
The viewing party also featured healthy appetizers from the Go Red cookbook.
During the event, the organization announced it’s looking for anyone in Blair County to nominate a woman who has made preventative measures for a healthier lifestyle.
“Women often take care of everyone else in their lives, and they forget to take care of themselves first so it’s real important that we all look out for one another and it’s very important to support women who have made lifestyle changes,” Jessica Lattanza, the Chair of Blair Go Red for Women said.
The deadline to nominate a woman in your life for the Healthy Lifestyle Change Award is April 1st, 2019.
