After the storm Saturday, folks in Altoona, Duncansville, and Hollidaysburg, like Ethan Knepp, got an early start Sunday, digging out from the winter weather.
“So it was soft at first, so it was super easy to brush off, but then when it sat, it got more solid, and, right now, it’s just big rocks pretty much,” Knepp said.
Folks woke up to buried cars, slick roads, and mounds upon mounds of snow.
Knepp, whose friends asked for help freeing their cars, said folks might as well clear off their cars and sidewalks before more snow could head their way later this week.
“I don’t see the reason to wait. You might as well clean it off while you can before tomorrow comes. If there’s gonna be more snow, it’s just gonna pile up and be heavier, so you might as well get out of it while you can,” Knepp said.
