Delgrosso’s Amusement Park and the Blair County Auto Club hosted the 27th annual Blair County Antique Car Show today, with dozens of cars cruising in to spend the day at the family park.
Mother nature was on the side of all these car enthusiasts, allowing them to show off their pride and joy.
Cindy Babiak and Robert Gohn have been in the car showing business for about six years and brought this classic bug all the way from overseas.
“Yeah, it’s a 1970 Volkswagen Beatle. It’s a right hand drive and it comes from South Africa. And we bought it in Bellwood,” Robert Gohn said.
“Just going to see. (different things) cars and found this (one), so we bought it, (yeah),” said Cindy Babiak and Robert Gohn said.
While the show can be fun for everyone, there are three things that they enjoy the most.
“Looking at different cars, and meeting different people, and having friends all the time,” Cindy Babiak and Robert Gohn said.
The Blair County Auto Club does all of the leg work for the show, but having the ability to partner up with Delgrosso’s for this family friendly event is what it’s all about.
