Centre County, Pa (WTAJ) — Twenty-two year old Braxton Becker was found guilty on one of three charges he faced Thursday.
A jury of twelve deliberated for about five hours before they said Becker was guilty of the misdemeanor charge of hindering the prosecution, and apprehension.
That charge is for his actions related to the accusation of deleting basement video from the night of timothy piazza’s death.
To find Becker guilty of this, the jury was certain that he concealed or destroyed evidence of a crime — and that he did so to protect other former brothers in the Beta Theta Pi fraternity
The jury said Becker was not guilty of tampering with evidence or obstruction.
