A Bedford County man is in jail Tuesday afternoon after police say he was a part of a group that broke into a home and assaulted the person living there.
Thomas Hughes III of Six Mile Run is facing a number of charges, including two counts of simple assault, and burglary after police say on August 13, he, along with two other men, broke into a residence on Raystown Road in Hopewell Township and “roughed up” the victim.
Hughes is also facing criminal trespass and terroristic threats charges and is in jail in lieu of bail. Police ask if you have any information regarding the identities of the other individuals involved, please give them a call.
