BEDFORD, Pa. (WTAJ) — You’re invited to take a walk for a great cause!
The 2019 Bedford County Humane Society Furrie Scurry will be May 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. at their new Adoption Center on Bohn Road.
Registration starts at 1 p.m. and people can also pick up a t-shirt. The registration form is available online at bchsonline.org.
You can bring your dog on a leash or call 814-623-8968 in advance to walk a shelter pet.
There is a $15 donation to participate. All proceeds benefit the shelter animals at the Bedford County Humane Society.
If it rains, the walk will be postponed to Sunday, June 2.
