Pennsylvania landowners will soon get some help beautifying the state.

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is offering one million dollars in grants to plant trees along streams in the commonwealth to improve water quality.
Landowners, businesses, non-profit organizations, local governments, and education institutions are all eligible for these grants.

You can apply until September 28th. Interested applicants should visit DCNR’s website https://www.dcnr.pa.gov/ to apply.

The goal is to plant 95-thousand acres of stream-side buffers by 20-25.
