A “stART here beautification and arts” block party will be coming to the Juniata neighborhood in Altoona next Saturday.
It’s all part of a plan to transform the area from North 6th – 8th street.
Community members are invited to join more than 80 musicians and performers, unique craft artisans, artists, vendors and local growers to bring about “beautification” in many different ways. Volunteers can plant flowers and paint street walls while enjoying multiple entertainment performances.
Food trucks will also be on hand for a quick bite to eat.
The event will start at noon and wrap up around 6 p.m.
