JAMES CREEK, HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Friends of Raystown Lake invite you to ‘Be Part of the Solution’ at Lake Cleanup Day on Saturday, May 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Tatman Run Recreation Area on the lake.
Over 100 volunteers will be working together to clean up remote sections of the Raystown Lake shoreline.
An average of two trash dumpsters and one ton of recyclables are removed every year.
The Friends of Raystown Lake have been the proud coordinators of this event since 1988.
