NORTH BRADDOCK, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a Pennsylvania teenager who was playing with a gun shot a 16-year-old girl in the face.
The shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. Monday in a North Braddock appointment.
Authorities say a 16-year-old boy brought the gun to the apartment and was “horseplaying” with it when it discharged.
The wounded girl remains hospitalized. But her name and further details on her condition have not been disclosed.
No other injuries were reported in the shooting.
The alleged shooter was still being sought Tuesday. Authorities say he’ll face aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and weapons offenses.
