Auditor General calls out counties for accepting bribes from voting machine vendors

A number of local counties are getting called out for accepting gifts from voting equipment vendors.

This includes Cambria, Clearfield, Elk, and Cameron counties.

According to Auditor General Eugene Depasquale, officials accepted lunches and dinners from different voting equipment vendors in Cambria, Clearfield, and Elk counties.

And back in 2016, during a conference in State College, Cameron County officials attended a vendor-sponsored dinner, plus were given transportation to a wine tour and paid entry to a private tour of a local distillery.

Matt Heckel is in Harrisburg with more on the bribes seen across the state, and the actions Depasquale is now calling for.
