SHIRLEY TWP, HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — State Police in Huntingdon have arrested a man who was wanted for robery and attempted homicide in Armstrong County.
State Police were investigating an incident on Extract Road in Shirley Township when they discovered the man, Willie Lunsford of Mount Union, was wanted for violent felonies. Lunsford initially gave investigators a false name, according to Huntingdon County District Attorney, Dave Smith.
State Police also served a warrant on an Extract Road residence and a Ford Escape, which they believe held evidence.
Lunsford will return to Armstrong County for further court proceedings.
