Arrests made at Toomey protest

Seven Pennsylvanians were arrested in front of Senator Pat Toomey’s office on Capitol Hill Monday. They were demanding to speak with him about the proposed GOP Health Care bill.

They say their biggest concerns include cuts to Medicaid and the possible end of the Medicaid coverage expansion that came with Obama care.

Protesters were forced to leave without meeting with the Senator, but organizers say they will continue advocate for change.

In all, people from 21 different states protested at the Senate Offices, Monday.
