Arrest made in Snow Shoe murder, victim identified

Murder charges are been filed in a death investigation in Snow Shoe.

On Friday, August 11, State Police were called to the victim’s home on the 200 block of Moshannon Avenue. When they got there they found Jeremy D. Cantolina, 38, shot dead in the driveway.

Investigators spent hours collecting evidence. Eventually Matthew Dreibelbis, 37, confessed to shooting Cantolina when Cantolina was leaving for work.

Police said Dreibelbis had been involved in a sexual relationship with the victim’s wife for a period of the past 3.5 years.

Dreibelbis was arraigned Saturday morning on first degree murder charges.
