ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY, Pa (WTAJ) — Folks from throughout the area gathered to honor the men and women who served or who still serve in the U.S. military.
It was the annual Armed Forces Day Celebration at the Wall that Heals and the Van Zandt VA Medical Center. This year, the program gave special recognition to women veterans and each of them was awarded a pin for her services.
The Blair County Honor Guard was there to advance and retire the colors. Our John Clay, who is a military veteran was the master of ceremonies.
