Another possible exposure incident at SCI Somerset.

At 6:40 p.m. Thursday, a SCI Somerset officer reported feeling lethargic after he opened the plumbing chase outside a cell.

He was attempting to purge the air from the cell in which an exposure incident happened earlier today.

After this officer was seen by the prison’s medical department, it was determined he needed to be transported to an outside hospital and an ambulance was called.

A second officer, who was with this officer, is also being sent to the hospital for evaluation as a precaution.
