The Altoona Water Authority is issuing a boil water notice for residents in the Grazierville, Snyder township area.

Crews will be starting work on Monday, July 23rd to install a new water valve and replace the water main at the intersection of Gates Hill rd. and Rossman Rd.

The Authority says customers in that area could experience service interruptions between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m., and should boil water before using it until further notice to avoid any possible contamination.

A list of areas impacted is as follows:

• Arch St, Bailey St, Cambria St, Clinton St, Cold Springs Rd, Dalmation Ln, Delaware St, Garden Alley, Gates Hill Rd, Hayes St, Hoovers Ln, Huckleberry St, Jimmys Dr, Oswalt Ln, Pot Pie Hill Rd, Rockline Dr, S 2^nd St, S 3^rd St, S 4^th St, S 5^th St, S 7^th St, S 8^th St, Sather Ave, Spring Alley, and Teaberry St.
• Customers on a portion of E Pleasant Valley Blvd (from 5165 to 5496 E Pleasant Valley Blvd ONLY)
• Customers on a portion of Grazierville Rd (from 1020 to 1269 Grazierville Rd ONLY)
• All customers on Rossman Rd EXCEPT for 319 & 341 Rossman Rd
