ALTOONA Pa. (WTAJ) — The City of Altoona is ranked as one of the best places in the country for veterans seeking a high-quality education.
According to a new study conducted by college factual, Altoona was ranked as the best area because students can get a great education at a vet-friendly school.
Saint Francis University ranked 236th in the country, and 11th best college in the state of Pennsylvania for Veterans.
Around 60 undergraduates at that school are recipients of the GI Bill.
Penn State Altoona ranked 277th.
Mount Aloysius College also ranked 701st.
