Hair stylists from J.C. Penney’s hair salon stopped by the Altoona High School today to give students in the special education program a new hair style.

One of the stylist we talked to said it’s all about giving back to the community.

“I think every child should have a hair cut before starting school and it makes us happy to see their faces light up when they get something and they’re happy about it,” said J.C. Penney Salon Manager, Maria Noye.

The stylists were scheduled to help 30 students.
