A power outage in Blair County left many residents and business owners without light or heat. Local police were sent out to help direct traffic in the affected area.
We’re told folks lost power around 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon after a guide wire went down.
Traffic lights were out from the Walmart on Plank Road to the intersection of Plank Road and North Juniata Street.
The outage continued through Hollidaysburg to the Allegheny Street and North Juniata Street intersection.
Power was restored around 2 p.m.
