A young boy is recovering after being accidentally shot by a friend Sunday afternoon.
Officials say two juveniles were playing with pellet guns at a home along East Main Street in Mahaffey, Clearfield County.
The gun went off, hitting one boy in the armpit area.
The boy was taken to the hospital where the pellet had to be removed.
