State police are investigating an accidental death in Cambria County.

Investigators said 67-year-old Scott Bantly walked away from the Skills Assisted Living Home in Patton Friday morning.

We’re told Bantly suffered from an intellectual disability and other mental health issues.

His body was found a few hours later in a small pond just north of SR 36 and Willow Lane.

State police said the death is not suspicious and remains under investigation.
