The elementary Girls STEM Day is rescheduled for this Friday, November 30.
The STEM Day was previously canceled due to inclement weather.
Girls in grades 3-6 will be participating in STEM-related activities, and girls in grades K-2 and boys in grades K-6 will be practicing coding using lessons from code.org.
The students will engage in STEM challenges including coding and robotics and will also learn about different STEM-related careers.
The keynote speakers will feature women who currently work in STEM-related fields, including Engineer, Physician Assistant, Air Traffic Controller, and Biology Professor, and others.
