A 6-year-old boy who was fatally struck Tuesday after riding a dirt bike into traffic on Interstate 83 has now been identified.
Coroner Pam Gray said Bryce Treichler of York County was riding his dirt bike outside of his home when he reportedly went down a hill on the property, leading him onto the interstate and directly into the path of a northbound vehicle.
The accident occurred around 5:00 p.m.
The boy died at the scene.
