CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) – Hundreds of volunteers will be working to clean-up waterways in Centre County this Saturday.
It’s all part of the 23rd Annual Watershed Cleanup Day.
The event will start at 8 a.m. and last until noon. All gloves and bags will be provided. Volunteers will also be treated to a picnic and live music at the Circleville Park in State College.
If you would like to volunteer, you’ll need to pre-register on their website. Registration is open until Saturday morning.
In 2018, more than 600 volunteers helped to remove an estimated 35,460 pounds of trash from Centre County.
