Bellefonte, Pa- A 14th former Beta Theta Pi brother plead guilty to actions related to the Penn State fraternity hazing case today.

Jonah Neuman, 21, was originally facing 25 charges, 21 of which were dropped Friday.

He pleaded guilty to three counts of hazing and one count of conspiracy to commit hazing.

Neuman was not accused of providing alcohol to Timothy Piazza the night of his death.

Police say Neuman provided beer to three other pledges that night at a drinking station part of “the gauntlet”.

He is one of the four brothers who carried an unconscious Piazza to a first floor couch, after he fell down the basement steps.

Police say another brother told them when he saw Piazza on the couch he wanted to call for help, but Neuman told him “they had it under control.”

Neuman’s attorney previously stated that Neuman only thought Piazza had too much to drink, and took the time to tend to him.

Neuman requested immediate sentencing, but this was opposed by Deputy Attorney General Megan Madaffari. Judge Brian Marshall ordered a pre-sentencing investigation.

Neuman’s sentencing is scheduled for March 26.
