A local firefighter will be laid to rest this week.
Brockway Fire Chief Jeffery Fustine passed away on Aug, 26th, at his home.
On Tuesday, Aug. 30th, visitation will take place at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home located at 1033 4th Avenue in Brockway from 1pm to 8pm. Visiting Emergency Service organizations wishing to pay their respects asked to visit between 4pm and 8pm.
Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 31st, at the Saint Tobias Roman Catholic Church, 1135 Hewitt Street, Brockway at 12pm. Visiting organizations will be able to attend the funeral services and join in after the service for a procession through town honoring Chief Fustine.
Following the service, a procession of emergency vehicles will proceed down Main Street where a final call for Chief Fustine will take place near the Fire Station.
