A fire department in Centre County will be hosting an open house this weekend to promote the need for more firefighters.
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Undine Fire Company in Bellefonte invites the public to learn about joining the fire service.
Officials say the number of volunteers continues to diminish partly because of retirements and older members leaving.
