The 15th Annual Spring Law Enforcement Seminar took place Friday.

It teaches coroners, law enforcement and first responders death investigation techniques and safety practices at the scene. They also learn how to cope with the stress and emotional toll of their jobs.

“First responders and coroners’ offices, day in and day out, deal with stressful situations and families going through grieving times. It takes special knowledge and person to be able to deal with that,” said Joseph Hribar, Chief Deputy Coroner for Cambria County.

Around 100 police officers, coroners and first responders from more than 13 counties in the state attended the seminar.
