BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A large gathering formed outside of the Bedford County Courthouse on Tuesday evening around 5:30 p.m.

As shown in the video, some of the people outside of the courthouse have firearms. Many were still there when our WTAJ crew left the area around 10 p.m.

Some of the crowd said that they are awaiting Black Lives Matter marchers. However, the leader of the marchers said on a Facebook live that they never had any intent of going to the courthouse.

The courthouse was also guarded by state police.

This comes after an activist group member was shot while marching through the county on Monday night.
