Lambcakes Bakery in downtown Johnstown officially opened at 7 Wednesday morning.
The owner, Chad Lamb, said he wasn’t expecting so many people and he had to make double the amount of the more popular items, like the cinnamon rolls.
“Of all the problems to have on your opening day, I think running out of things quickly is a good thing. Everyone is happy. We’ve already had people come back that were here in the morning, they came back at lunchtime and got some more snacks. So it’s been fantastic,” Lamb said.
The owner said he’s excited to get back in the kitchen tomorrow morning. He’s also happy to help bring more business to downtown Johnstown.
