Police say two recent armed robberies in State College are connected.
Bilal McGruder, who turned himself into police for the armed robbery in downtown State College over the Labor Day weekend is also charged for the September 2 robbery near South Halls.
Police say McGruder told two students he had items to sell them at his apartment, but before they went into his building, McGruder allegedly pulled out a gun and demanded the students money.
McGruder faces armed robbery charges, along with simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.
