Today is jury selection day for an former beauty queen’s trial.
Police say Brandi Weaver-Gates scammed dozens of people by faking cancer and collecting money for her alleged treatment.
She was ordered to stand trial last August, but according to Centre County Court documents, she is now scheduled to enter a guilty plea later this week.
The 23-year-old woman faces 8 felony charges.
