Jerry Sandusky will have another day in court.
Judge John Cleland ordered a hearing to give the defense an opportunity to prove allegations raised in Sandusky’s Post Conviction Relief Act petition.
They claim that the former Penn State assistant football coach had an unfair trial.
The defense will have the chance to prove that Joseph McGettigan lied about knowing the identity of Victim 2 and that Joe Amendola knew McGettigan was lying, that Judge Feudale and the Office of the Attorney General witheld Brady material from the defense and that the Attorney General’s office leaked secret grand jury information before the trial.
The hearing will be held on May 20 at 9:00 a.m. in Bellefonte.
