Johnstown Police are are asking the community to speak out if they have information on the November 9th murder of Kyfen Jones.
Police held a news conference Saturday afternoon that they’ve enlisted the help of Crime Stoppers to offer up to $2,000 in reward for anyone who can provide information that can assist the investigation.
Jones was found at approximately 9:30 pm on November 9th in the alley on Edith Avenue in Johnstown. Police say they are waiting on results from the evidence found but explained that it could take some time. Police also mentioned that there was another murder within an our of this one in Hornerstown and they were able to make an arrest with the community’s help. Those murders are not connected. However, police are still determining if the murder of Jones could be connected to a murder that took place the day before.
Crime Stoppers urged that anyone that provides information will remain anonymous.
