The district is projecting a $4.5 million deficit next year and closing the middle school is one option officials are considering to close that gap.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, March 2, at 6 p.m. in the Johnstown Middle School cafeteria. After Thursday’s meeting, there is a required 90-day “cooling off” period before the school board can make a decision about whether or not to close the middle school.
